1:27 Live

1:27 is a live music promotions company with a difference. It was born out of a long discussion between Andi and Dave over several nights. The idea is to reach out to those who we are passionate about, that is both young people and those in alternative music scenes. The aim is to make a difference in their lives, to bring them some awesome music and also to raise a few quid for good causes in the process.

We are called to “Fight the good fight for what you believe”, yet in a modern day world we increasingly find ourselves asking what our fight actually is. We can look around and see that life is changing – rapidly. There are more groups of people than ever before; all in vastly different situations. Unfortunately in most cases the church is struggling to keep up. The 21^st century church should not be about a building. It needs to be about urgency. Not waiting for the people to come to it. The church needs to be mobile and go to the people. To reconnect. To reassess what it can be. We need to be in the places where people feel most comfortable, but with an understanding of where they are coming from.  The church needs to be relevant. Making the truth accessible to everyone; in a way that they can understand and relate to. 1:27 has a mission. It is to be with people who regularly go to pubs, clubs and venues and to be around them, to spend time with them. The world relates through music, and so do we. We will take great music that people might not have heard before and take it to the people. Relating through music. We will stand side by side together. Join us. What do you fight for?
